Fursuits
About my fursuits
My general style in fursuits is toony and playful. I can make different expressions if desired. All my fursuit heads are lined with breathable fabric. My fursuit heads normally fits on heads ranging from 55cm up to 60cm and more. Unfortunately, my suit heads are not glasses-friendy at this moment
I don't like to use hard parts in my fursuits (plastic, metal, resin, etc.) Only fursuit eyes are always 3D-printed. They have a hand-painted, water resistant mesh. In other parts like teeth and claws, I prefer to use minky or fleece fabrics.
Handpaws are fully lined and slightly stuffed. Paw pads and claws are usually made out of minky. I offer different styles of handpaws, from 2 fingered feral hooves to 5-fingered toony paws. My usual and most common style has been 4-fingered paws. I do not offer slim or reptile styled handpaws at this moment. All handpaw patterns are made by me.
Feetpaws are sock paw styled and fully filled with pillow stuffing which can be removed via zipper for easier washing and drying. Outdoor feetpaws have EVA foam soles and indoor paws have fur soles with minky paw pads. I don't make changeable soles, but if you order both (indoor- and outdoor paws), I offer a small discount as a compensation. I use Spiltgrapesoda's feetpaw pattern.
In bodysuits, I like to play with different fur lengths. Usually I use longer fur in chest and shorter fur in belly for example, but this depends on a color availability and can be discussed with a customer. Digitigrade bodysuits have removable pillow paddings inside legs. Pillows are made from breathable fabric and are easy to wash.
Like my other stuffed parts, my tails (from medium sizes and bigger) have zippers as well, so you can remove the stuffing when washing. My price list only includes a few different tail sizes. You can always ask a fully customized tail if you need something special!
As comfortable as I try to make my fursuits, they might be a little bit uncomfortable to wear and use sometimes. Keep in mind that you have limited visibility and fursuit parts can make moving a bit difficult. Be careful! Fake fur costumes, especially fullsuits, are also very hot to wear, so please remember to take care for yourself while suiting: take breaks and drink enough water!
Care guide
I recommend to use a balaclava with your fursuit head and an undersuit with your fursuit body. These will help to keep the sweat off your fursuit. Gently brush, dry and ventilate your suit after every use. Don't store your fursuit in an enclosed space like a suitcase or a closet, when your suit is damp or wet! Make sure your fursuit is completely dry before storing it.
I recommend to use a "Fursuit Spray" to disinfect your fursuit parts after a longer use. When spraying inside your fursuit head, try to avoid contact with the eyes. These sprays containing isopropyl alcohol ensure that your fursuit will stay fresh longer and it doesn't start to smell! You can find these different scented Fursuit Sprays from many vendors online. Don't use normal fabric cleaning sprays that you might find in normal stores. A lot of these sprays could damage your fursuit, since those are not specifically designed for fursuits.
Try to avoid really dirty places when wearing your fursuit. Make sure you know your surroundings! Try to avoid contact with food, drinks, grass, mud and everything else that can stain your fursuit. Those might be difficult to wash off. Grass and mud especially if you have a floordragger tail or detailed indoor feetpaws. I recommend to protect these parts with something like a plastic cover or sandals made for paws. Also a reminder that the fur and glue don't like heat at all. Never leave your fursuit in hot places and only use cold or lukewarm water while washing your fursuit. NEVER USE A HAIR DRYER when drying your fursuit!
NEVER USE HOT WATER when washing any of your fursuit parts! Only use cold or lukewarm water! If you use a washing machine, use the coldest setting you have. Use a program with no hard RPM. Wet fur and foam dry pretty slowly, so I recommend using a fan to speed up the drying process. Give your suit a gentle shake and brush it gently to help it dry faster.
Head: If you have a velcro tongue or other removable parts in your head, take them off first. Wash your head with a damp towel or rag that has some mild detergent applied to it. You can also wash it with a light shower and mild detergent. Avoid water contact with the eyes. I recommend to protect the eyes as good as you can. Again I recommend to use a fan to speed up the drying process. You can wash the feetpaws with the same method.
Handpaws: Hand wash them with detergent and water and rinse carefully. You can put the handpaws into a washing machine too, but I don't recommend doing so, if you have any hard parts like 3D printed claws or any other extra parts. Squeeze all the extra water out of the paws and hang dry them.
Body: Turn your fursuit body inside out. Take out all the paddings and stuffing from the legs and tail, if it is attached to the body. If your tail is attached to the body with a zipper, remove the tail. You can hand wash the body in a bathtub or put it in a washing machine.
If you hand wash it in a bathtub, make sure to rinse it carefully to get all the detergent out.
To dry your bodysuit, put it on a drying rack. NEVER hang dry it or put it in a dryer. Wet fur is really weighty, which means hang drying will stretch the fabric easily.
Tail and feetpaws: If your tail or paws have a zipper, take out all the stuffing. You can washyour tail with machine. I recommed to handwash feetpaws, especially if you have outdoor paws.
